This past Sunday we once again gathered for our version of “Sunday family dinner:” our first quarter Chapel Family Update. At the meeting, we shared a financial update, an elder nomination update, and a ministry update. Videos of these updates, as well as a video of the entire meeting, are below. While each update was a flavorful addition to our time around the table, the main course of this family dinner was our Church Planting Update. If you missed the meeting and are only able to watch one of the recap videos, please prioritize this segment (by clicking the image below) so that we can all achieve unity regarding this important calling in the life of our Chapel family.
If you would like an opportunity to learn more and ask any questions about the Chapel’s future church plant, please join Doug Bunn for an informational meeting on Sunday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Room.
Yesterday Billy Graham went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Over the course of his life, he preached the gospel, in person, to more than 100 million people. Reverend Graham’s life should encourage us as to what Jesus can do through a person fully surrendered to Him. It should also challenge us to more faithfully pursue Jesus’ call on our lives as a family of faith together.
As I write this, I am both encouraged and challenged. I am encouraged by Jesus’ faithfulness in regards to our finances, the leadership He has provided, and how He is working in all of our ministries. I am challenged by Jesus’ call to pursue new initiatives, including church planting, as He beckons us into the next forty years together.
See you Sunday.
