Get to know this year's Children's Ministry Summer Interns!

Kacey Dolan

My name is Kacey Dolan and I recently received a degree in Media Arts and Design from James Madison University. During the last four years, my studies in video and cinema were focused on the importance and power of storytelling. I am thrilled to spend this summer sharing the Gospel, the greatest story of all, with every child that walks through the doors of the Chapel! Ever since middle school, Chapel has been my church home. Praise God that I have such a beloved community to return to! This is my third summer as a Children’s Ministry Intern and I can confidently say that God has done amazing things during my time here. I know the Lord will do a mighty work in our children’s hearts this summer and I can’t wait to once again see all that He will accomplish through our CM team!

Alana Foster

Hi! My name is Alana Foster and I recently graduated from James Madison University, where I studied Anthropology with a minor in Biology. Approaching graduation, I had no idea what He had planned for this next chapter in my life. It was extremely intimidating to release control of my future but it has pushed me to completely rely on the Lord and trust in His faithfulness. Thankfully, He has blessed me with the opportunity to serve this community as the Children’s Ministry summer intern! I’m incredibly excited to see the ways He allows me to further His kingdom, grow in my faith, and most importantly, love His children!

Nicole Harney

I was born and raised in Williamsburg, Virginia. My parents (Jim and Janet), my brother (Tyler), and I are all musicians. My main instrument is cello, but I also play piano, acoustic guitar, electric bass, ukulele, harmonica, and voice. I have just finished my sophomore year of college studying music therapy at Shenandoah University, and I look forward to being an academic tutor as well as a board member of the Shenandoah University Music Therapy Association there next fall. I have attended the Chapel since I was four years old, and I have volunteered at the Chapel since I was 11 years old. I first started out as a VBS volunteer; a few years later, I became a regular Sunday volunteer in Children's Ministry. This summer will be my second time interning at the Chapel, and I am excited to be a part of the team again!
