You can give a one-time gift, which is an effective way to give if you are unable to attend the service. You can also create an account to set up scheduled giving to one or more funds. Q: Why should I set up an account?
A: The Chapel highly encourages members and regular attendees to create accounts. Creating an account provides many benefits:
- Allows a convenient way to set up scheduled giving
- Stores your basic information in the
securesystem to provide a quicker and more convenient way to give
- Provides the ability to designate gifts to multiple funds
Q: If I want to set-up a recurring gift, what are my options for
A: For recurring gifts, you have the option of giving Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Annually. If you are giving to multiple funds, you can give to each with different frequencies.
Q: Can I change my personal information or the amount or the frequency of my gift once I have set up my account?
A: Yes. You can change or cancel your contribution at any time before the date of your next contribution. Simply log into the system using your username and password and make the necessary changes.
Q: Will contributions
A: Yes. However, the online giving portal will only allow you to view the complete history of your contributions given online. To access your history for all contributions, please log in to your Access ACS Account. If you do not already have an account, please contact Nathaniel Darling, , (757) 941-1203. Once logged in, click the Home tab and then click My Giving History. Please note that all contributions may not appear until the transaction has been posted to the church's financial records.
Q: Will I still receive regular contribution statements from the church?
A: Yes. The church will continue to send year-end contribution statements to your address on file for your financial records.
Q: How will I know that I set up my gift correctly?
A: Immediately after submitting your contribution, you will receive an e-mail verifying your contribution.
Q: Can I still give via cash or check?
A: Financial gifts may still be made by cash or check on Sunday mornings or by mail. Checks should be made payable to:
