At the Chapel we believe that we grow as disciples of Jesus when we pray, study God’s Word, worship, share God’s Word, and serve together. These practices take root when we commit to the intentional relationships found in small groups.
"Our group helps us to be intentional about pursuing our relationship with God and furthering our faith in a busy season of life. It gives us an opportunity to slow down and digest the week’s sermon or topic we’re studying by carving out time to dig deeper and experience God in community. It’s enlightening to see another believer’s response on a particular sermon or topic. Being in a small group is broadening our view of who God is by seeing Him work in others’ lives as well as our own. Our group gathers a few times a month to study the Word, pray, share a meal, and fellowship together. It is a place where we learn from other couples and are encouraged and inspired to know God better. It impacts many aspects of our life by giving us an opportunity to live alongside other families in the same stage of life. We are able to discuss faith, marriage, parenting, or anything that is on our hearts. We aren’t from this area and don’t have any family here, but we’ve been blessed that our group has become like family to us." — Brooke and Rob Hasenfelt
"God has been growing us from being students of the Word to being students AND sisters in Christ. He is always revealing more that we have in common, and He's increasing our desire to share His light with people who don't know Him yet. No matter how tired or distracted I may feel when I arrive at small group, I always leave feeling energized, joyful and loved after experiencing God through the wonderful ladies in my group!" — Ashley Willis
"We look forward to getting together with our small group every week. Through our small group members, God has really been urging us to include service as a large part of our small group culture and to broadcast God's love outside the 'church walls'. We have been surprised by the amount of new couples God has brought to our group throughout the year and the willingness of our group to create an inclusive atmosphere. We seek to live life together in a Christ-centered community through studying the Word, fellowship, and serving." — Matthew and Sarah Burton
