Children's Ministry

Early Childhood (6 weeks–Preschool) Volunteer

What: Serve in the Nursery with infants-2 year olds. Or serve with 3-5 year olds as a Teacher or Small Group Leader.
When: Sunday mornings (Summer season or School Year)
Time Commitment: Rotational Schedule

Student Ministry

High School Small Group Leader

Because there are so many students in our congregation, it is not always feasible for the staff to weekly pour into every single student. A High School Small Group Leader is a position designed to relationally connect and pour into the lives of the teenagers in Williamsburg. You will have an opportunity to help teenagers connect, grow, and serve in their relationship with Jesus as well as grow in your own relationship with Christ through teachings at our bi-weekly leader meetings. Student Ministry Mentee

The Student Ministry mentorship is the highest commitment volunteer level position because it requires a large time commitment as well as a higher expectation to serve at every event. You will have the opportunity to not only participate but actively coordinate how each event helps teenagers connect, grow, and serve in their relationship with Jesus. Adult Ministry

Mentor

What: Mentor- we have needs for mentors in MOPS (Moms of pre-schoolers), women’s, men’s, and marriage mentors. Our desire is to equip people to grow in their relationship to the Lord and then become fully engaged Disciples of Christ. Mentors help people along their spiritual journey. Small Group Questions Team Member

What: Small Group Questions Team Member- join our team to write sermon questions for our small groups. Our team works together to provide means for our small groups to think through the Sermons and how they apply to our lives.
When: Meet Sundays following the first service on a rotational schedule.
Time Commitment: Approximately one time per month for 30-45 minutes following the service.
