Interested in Serving on the Connect Team?
Our Welcome Team helps meet people where they are on their spiritual journey by offering everyone a warm, friendly welcome. We work with other ministries at the Chapel to help people get truly connected with small groups and other forms of support, as well as sharing opportunities to grow and serve. You are invited to serve one service, one Sunday a month, or as often as you like. We would love to have you join our Welcome Team!

SUNDAY SHUTTLE BUS DRIVERS
Our Sunday Shuttle Bus Drivers help our congregants and visitors that graciously park at Jamestown High School get to and from their vehicles and our doors. Parking at JHS is a great way we can serve visitors to open up a spot for them in our parking lot, and so our bus drivers help make that possible by shuttling people from the parking lot to our Main Entrance doors. Drivers must be 21 or older, and there is a rotational schedule for the volunteers.

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation. The Chapel’s Mission Statement is based on the Great Commission found in Matthew 28. In this commission, Jesus gives one command with three applications and one promise. The command is to make disciples, and we do this by going, baptizing, and teaching. In light of this command, we believe the role baptism plays in this discipleship process is that it gives people the opportunity to publicly proclaim how Jesus has transformed their lives. Our hope is that as we experience this Service of Baptism and witness these testimonies of transformation, we will be reminded of the truth of Jesus’ promise at the end of Matthew 28 that He is surely with us always, even to the very end of the age.
