When Nancy and I first met as students at the College of William and Mary, we had no idea of the great adventure that God had in store for us!
We were married soon after Nancy’s graduation and immediately began what we now refer to as our “corporate tour of rural America” as part of my 25-year career in telecommunications with Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint. Along the way, we were blessed with two amazing children and positions of increasing responsibility at work. Most importantly, we met Jesus out there – Nancy in her early 30s and me at 40.
At age 45, I left my corporate career behind to pursue a second career in Christian music ministry. Since then, Nancy and I have worked together to build up Christian music festivals nationwide, and we are partners in a small leadership development consulting company.
Our kids are now grown and married to amazing spouses. Our son and his bride and our two grandchildren are nearby in Richmond. Our daughter and son-in-law are in New York City.
We moved back “home” to Williamsburg in 2002 and became members of the Chapel in 2004. We have been involved as small group leaders and in the worship arts ministry—helping to bring aspiring worship artists to the Chapel. We have been delighted to see the Chapel grow and flourish during our first 10 years here. To God be the glory, great things He has done!
