A Note from Travis - Worshiping Together - December 3, 2020
by Travis Simone on December 03, 2020
Dear Chapel Family,
Beginning this Sunday, December 6, our inside service will take place at 9am and our outside service will move to 11am. Our desire is to continue meeting people wherever they are spiritually and physically by worshiping together inside, outside, and online. We will continue to stream both services, and our condensed online service will also be available by 7am on Sundays so that you may worship with us online anytime. For more information on how we are worshiping together, as well as the biblical principles that inform our planning in this season, visit wcchapel.org/worshipingtogether.
David writes in Psalm 41:1, “blessed are those who have regard for the weak.” The Bible commands us to care for the vulnerable. Worshiping together inside, outside, and online allows us to care for people with physical vulnerabilities, as well as help people remain connected to Jesus and one another during a time of great disconnection. Whether you worship inside, outside, or online, may our worshiping together (regardless of location!) be a blessing to us all and to our community this Advent season. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5)
See you Sunday — inside, outside, and online,
P.S. If you’re joining us outside at 11am, it’s helpful when people are able to bring their own chairs.
