Recover from Idolatry: Ezekiel 36:22-36
Hunter introduced Ezekiel 36:22–36 by defining idolatry as “seeking our security, significance, or salvation in someone or something other than Jesus Christ, Himself.” In reality, we all suffer from forms of idolatry that harm our relationship with Jesus. What idols do you struggle with?
Use the following questions to help identify some of the idols in your life:
Ezekiel teaches that idolatry ruins God’s reputation and requires God's recovery. However, when your idols are resolved they point to God's ultimate restoration which allows us to move from profaning God’s reputation to proclaiming His beauty and grace.

As Travis mentioned this past Sunday, one of the primary pictures that the Bible draws of the church is the image of the “household of God.” As part of God’s household, we’re looking for volunteers to help care for our families by serving our youngest disciples. If you are interested in providing childcare for infants and preschoolers, we have opportunities available on Tuesday mornings and evenings, Wednesday mornings; as well as Sunday mornings. For more details or to volunteer, contact Elizabeth Duncan at .
We offer our prayers and sympathy to the following families:
- The Mackert family on the passing of Sharon's brother, Michael Insabella
- The Swink family on the passing of Patty's husband, Wade Swink
