Fix Our Eyes – Jesus’ Teaching about Family: The two shall become one flesh”: (Matthew 19:1-9)
God's design for marriage is oneness: "and said, 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'" (Matthew 19:5). We need to ask ourselves, "Is the Bible my starting point for understanding marriage?" and "Am I willing to do the hard work of oneness?" In addition to listening to the complete sermon, we want to make sure you know that the Chapel provides resources to come alongside and support you in your marriage. If you are looking to talk to someone or to receive marriage mentoring, then contact our Associate Pastor, Hunter Ruch, at .

Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 6:30pm, inside, outside and online
We hope you will join us as we worship together on Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent — the 40-day season before Easter spent in anticipation of Christ’s death and resurrection. This service will also mark the beginning of our next sermon series: Fix our Eyes on Jesus the Forgiver.
Through this difficult season, teachers and staff need our support and encouragement more than ever as they continue to address the challenges of providing an education to the students during the pandemic. The Chapel has partnered with New Zion Baptist Church to come alongside the James Blair Middle School community to provide that support and encouragement. Please consider adopting a teacher or staff member today! To learn more, please watch the video below and visit our sign up by clicking the button.
One great opportunity to serve in this season is to “adopt” one of our local or global missions partners: pray for their specific needs, build relationships, serve at their location, and donate your time, talents, or treasures.
COFM (Community of Faith Mission) will be changing their shelter program to hotels starting on Feb. 14. They are in need of volunteers to help fill slots. Every safety precaution will be put into place.
