Fix Our Eyes – Jesus' Care for the Poor: "The least of these": (Matthew 25:31-46)
Continuing in our current series, "Jesus and Everyday Life", Travis used Matthew 25:31-46 to show us how Jesus views caring for others. In fact, verse 40 tells us that when we serve "the least of these" we are serving Jesus. Serving Jesus does not require special talents or abilities but instead requires humility, proximity, regularity, and availability. Serving Jesus does not always have to be expensive or take a lot of time because to quote Mother Teresa "there are no great things, only small things done with great love." Let us take up this call and live out Galatians 6:10 which reads, "as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith."
