This Past Sunday

Fix Your Eyes on Jesus the Forgiver: "His older son was in the field”: (Luke 15:24-32)

Continuing in the parable of the Prodigal Son, Travis Simone focused on the older son who was lost in self-righteousness. Rather than accepting his father’s invitation to celebrate the return of his brother, who had been lost but now was found, the older brother responds with self-righteous anger. What should we do when we see signs of self-righteousness creeping into our own lives? We return to the Father and receive others like the Father: with generosity, joy, and our presence.

Adult Bible Study - Choosing Forgiveness

Sundays, beginning April 11 through May 16 from 10:30–11:30 am, Room 128

Throughout this season of Lent, we have been fixing our eyes on Jesus the Forgiver – but forgiving others is difficult to do. If you are struggling to forgive someone, this class, led by Joyce Keil, is an opportunity to find healing in our lives as we learn about the different levels of forgiveness and how prayer helps us extend God's grace to others. When we fully accept the forgiveness that God gives to us and extend that forgiveness to others, we will experience peace, joy, and a closer walk with our Heavenly Father. To register, contact Hunter Ruch at   or 941-1246.
