Last Sunday

"A great persecution" – Acts 7:54-8:8

If you had to restart the church, what would you ask people to do? From this passage in Acts, we learn from Stephen's actions to say what we've seen and suffer like Jesus so others can see. Let's be a church that looks to God's Word and prays for God's forgiveness in order to live this out.

To hear and see more from our Sunday worship services, visit wcchapel.org/worship.

This Sunday, join us as we begin our new sermon series, The Season of Advent: The Worship of "My Church".

Serve Opportunities

Live Nativity Update from Bill Price:

It’s been a wonderful and challenging task to communicate with over 120 volunteers for this year’s Live Nativity. I apologize if you’ve volunteered but haven’t heard anything from me yet. I promise to be in touch soon. There’s still room for many others to participate. If you’re interested, please send me an email at   or click here.

Tickets will be available beginning Sunday, Nov 28 at wcchapel.org/livenativity. Because this event is so different from anything else we’ve ever done the ticketing process will also look different; so before registering, please watch the short, helpful video that will be available on the page on Sunday.

One of the most important roles to be filled each night will be to pray for each night’s presentation. Everyone who attends will hear a clear presentation of the gospel and we are praying that God will use this event to draw people to Christ. Could you write a reminder on your calendar to spend a few minutes in prayer beginning at 6:00pm on Dec 17-19? Prayer precedes movement, and we’re praying for the movement of the Holy Spirit.

Community of Faith Mission (COFM) Homeless Winter Shelter

The Chapel is hosting the COFM homeless winter shelter Jan. 16-23, 2022. Please join us in sharing Jesus’ love with our community. Volunteers are needed for a variety of jobs and shifts. Particular needs include overnight volunteers and bus drivers. For more information or to sign up to volunteer please click the link below or contact Margaret Bacon at  .
