Last Sunday: Don't Miss the Beauty of the Church

The Apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 5:25b, “…Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her…” Jesus bought the church at the price of his own blood. We are stewards of something of inestimable value. However, for some of us, church is just one item on our self-help playlist. Ephesians 2:4-5 reveals that we don’t need help, we need resurrection. Every time we gather, may we have the bride of Christ in focus, seeing the unsurpassed beauty of citizens and siblings growing together into God's sanctuary. What attitude or practice is hiding the beauty of the church from your eyes?

Devotion and Prayer

Corporate prayer helps us fix our eyes on Jesus and brings the beauty of his church into focus. We hope you will join us tomorrow (and every Wednesday) Sept. 22 at 9:30am for our devotion and prayer. You can pray with us either in-person under the tent or online at wcchapel.org/devotionsFacebook, and YouTube. If you cannot join us at 9:30am, the most recent prayer time is also available on our website in addition to Facebook and YouTube.

Churches Loving Schools: Adopt-a-member of JBMS

Our Chapel family partners with New Zion Baptist Church to come alongside and share God's love with James Blair Middle School's teachers and staff. People from both churches show support through individually written cards and prayers. Special gifts and cookouts are given throughout the school year as an extension of this encouragement. If you would like to "adopt" a member of the JBMS Spider Family, please click the button below to sign up. For any questions, contact Claire Jacobs at .
