FAQs

Q: Is it safe to give online?
A:
 Yes. Our processor is a Level 1 Certified PCI Compliant Service Provider. This means it conforms to the highest set of security standards in the payment card industry. All personal, credit card, and bank information is submitted using 256-bit encryption. There is no stronger form of protection than this encryption.

 

Q: Why should I set up an account?
A: The Chapel highly encourages members and regular attendees to create online giving accounts. Online Giving can be through your bank or by credit card. Creating an online giving account provides many benefits:

  • Allows a convenient way to set up scheduled giving
  • Stores your basic information in the secure system to provide a quicker and more convenient way to give
  • Provides the ability to designate gifts to multiple funds

 

Q: What if I forget my password?
A: You can enter the email address you used to setup the account and select RESET.

 

Q: If I want to set-up a recurring gift, what are my options for frequency of my gift?
A: For recurring gifts, you have the option of giving Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Twice a Month, Monthly, Quarterly, or Annually. If you are giving to multiple funds, you can give to each with different frequencies.

 

Q: Can I change my personal information or the amount or the frequency of my gift once I have set up my online giving account?
A: Yes. You can change or cancel your contribution at any time before the date of your next contribution. Simply log into the system using your username and password and make the necessary changes. Use the green icon button on the Scheduled Giving page to access your online account information. Click on the drop-down arrow and select the edit or delete button to enter your changes.

 

Q: Will I still receive regular contribution statements from the church?
A: Yes. The church will continue to send year-end contribution statements to your address on file for your financial records. Your statement will include gifts from all methods of giving to the church.

 

Q: How will I know that I set up my gift correctly?
A: Immediately after submitting your contribution, you will receive an e-mail verifying your contribution. You can also log into your online giving account and access your account information to verify amounts and frequency of your gifts.
